Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy defines the rules for storing and accessing data on Users’ Devices using the Website in order to provide electronic services by the Controller, as well as the principles of collecting and processing personal data voluntarily provided by Users via tools available on the Website.

This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Website’s Terms of Use, which sets out the rights, rules, and obligations of Users.

§1 Definitions

  • Website – the "visinunitate.org" website operating at https://visinunitate.org

  • External Service – partner websites or websites of service providers cooperating with the Controller

§2 Data Protection Officer

In accordance with Art. 37 of the GDPR, the Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer. For all matters concerning data processing, contact should be made directly with the Controller.

§3 Types of Cookies

  • Internal cookies – placed and read from the User’s Device by the Website's system

  • External cookies – placed and read by external service systems via embedded scripts

  • Session cookies – stored temporarily and deleted after the session ends

  • Persistent cookies – stored until manually deleted by the User or by browser settings

§4 Data Storage Security

  • Cookie security – the storage and reading mechanisms do not allow access to other data or inject harmful code.

  • Internal cookies – considered safe and free from malicious content.

  • External cookies – the Controller chooses reputable partners but cannot fully control their cookies; responsibility is limited to legal allowances.

  • NIP, KRS, REGON numbers (for entities)

Data via newsletter signup or comments includes:

§9 Third-Party Access to Data

Data is not sold or transferred to third parties.
Service providers with data access under data processing agreements include:

  • Hosting providers (e.g., OVH sp. z o.o.)

  • Newsletter service (MailChimp)

§10 Data Processing Details

  • Personal data will not be transferred outside the EU, unless posted publicly by the User

  • Personal data will not be used for profiling or sold to third parties

  • Anonymous data may be transferred outside the EU and is not used for profiling or resold

§11 Legal Basis for Processing

  • Polish Data Protection Act (10 May 2018)

  • Telecommunications Law (16 July 2004)

  • Copyright Law (4 February 1994)

§12 Retention Period

  • Personal data is stored for the duration of service provision and deleted or anonymized within 30 days after termination

  • Exception: Up to 3 years for legal protection or terms violations

  • Anonymous data may be stored indefinitely for statistical purposes

§13 User Rights

Users have the right to:

  • Access their data

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Erase personal data (with some legal exceptions)

  • Restrict processing (as per GDPR Art. 18)

  • Data portability (structured, machine-readable format)

The Controller reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time.

  • For anonymous data or cookies: no prior notice is required

  • For personal data: Users with accounts or newsletter subscriptions will be informed via email within 7 days

  • Continued use of the Website implies acceptance of changes

  • Users who do not agree must delete their account or unsubscribe
